Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations comes out on top in a user survey published last month. The report captures data from 1107 verified owners of 22 top enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
With emphasis placed on vendor capability and product features, the report by Info-Tech showed that Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations was consistently rated as better than its main rivals, SAP and Oracle, in the enterprise class of business management systems.
Dynamics 365 is recognised as the clear leader for product features and user satisfaction. The Product Features and Satisfaction Score is derived from the likelihood of users to recommend the software, combined with user satisfaction across top product features.
Microsoft also leads the ranking in Vendor Capabilities.
Again, ranked across eleven criteria, Dynamics 365 leads the pack. In nine out of the eleven categories, Microsoft’s flagship ERP system comes out ahead of its rivals, with a noticeable advantage in the area of ‘product strategy and rate of improvement’. It is also rated significantly easier to implement and customise than its main rivals, Oracle and SAP.
