New activity license for D365 F&O
The new option is called “Activity” and sits between the two current levels of Full User and Team Member.
Effective May 1, 2017, the Activity license will be priced at $50/user/month. An Activity user will be able to:
- Approve invoices
- Approve all Activity related transactions
- Create or edit the items related to: warehousing, receiving, shipping, production orders, purchase orders, sales orders, project activities, vendor maintenance, and all budgets
- Operate a POS device, store manager device, shop floor device, or warehouse device
At the same time, Microsoft also announced a change in pricing for the Team Member option. The pricing tiers will be removed and a flat rate of $8/user/month introduced (from 1.05.17). This change will reduce subscription costs for all customers with up to 250 Team Members.
Customers’ existing subscriptions will continue for the term of the agreement.
