How does Microsoft Fabric differ from Power BI?
Fabric is the data foundation: the OneLake data lake, integration, a warehouse, real-time analytics, and data science. Power BI is the analytics and reporting layer on top of that foundation. Both have their own pages.
How does Fabric connect to Dynamics 365?
Data from Dynamics 365 flows into OneLake through Link to Microsoft Fabric, the successor to the retired Export to Data Lake. This lets analytics and AI run on current ERP data, without maintaining separate exports.
Do you have to migrate all data into Fabric?
Not necessarily. OneLake lets you use data without moving it, through shortcuts, including to other clouds, so Fabric can be adopted in stages.
Is Fabric the foundation for AI and agents?
