OSTP Group specialises in manufacturing welded stainless steel pipes used in demanding industrial environments exposed to corrosion. The company operates mainly in the Swedish and Finnish markets, supplying products to many industries.
Project Description
The project covered preparing technical documentation, software development, and supervision of the Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation. ANEGIS integrated the ERP system with MES solutions, the Attracs logistics system, Optimity supply-chain planning software, and many customer and supplier systems. Automatic email document sending was also implemented, and EDI document exchange was improved.
Challenge
The key challenge was connecting the ERP system with many specialised applications responsible for production, logistics, and supply-chain planning, while ensuring a smooth flow of data between all the systems.
Solution
ANEGIS developed a set of dedicated integrations between Microsoft Dynamics AX and the production and logistics systems. The project also covered modernising EDI document-exchange processes, automating email communication, and implementing mechanisms to support production process control and delivery planning.
