ADF handles various document types, that is, invoices, receipts, contracts, and shipments, imported from many sources: email, KSeF, EDI, or entered by hand. Microsoft Document Intelligence and OCR technology automatically read and classify documents and match them to orders, without manual data entry.
Budget management and configurable approval paths
Configuring budget lines, financial dimensions, and related permissions gives full control over planned and actual costs, and every budget item linked to a document reduces the risk of overruns. In Power Automate, you define any processing and approval path for users, groups, or roles, depending on the type and value of the document.
Flexible deployment and integration with the Microsoft environment
ADF works as a standalone solution or in full integration with a finance and accounting system, including Dynamics 365. Built in Power Apps, it connects with Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams, and its responsive interface works just as well in the office as in the field or on the move.
Orders, a data repository, and the full document lifecycle
The document flow extends to managing internal and purchase orders and communication with suppliers, integrated with the cost documents received. Dataverse provides a single repository with barcodes for quick search, and once approval is complete, documents can be moved to Azure Blob Storage. From the start of the flow to archiving, the entire document lifecycle stays in one system.

Does ADF work on its own, or does it require integration with a finance and accounting system?
It can work as a standalone solution, with all the functions needed to process and store documents, or in full integration with a finance and accounting system, including Dynamics 365, depending on what fits your organisation better.
Which document types does ADF handle?
Invoices, receipts, contracts, and shipments. Documents can come into the system from email, from KSeF, through EDI, or be entered by hand.
How does the ADF integration with KSeF work?
The integration automates the entire invoice lifecycle: from retrieving and reading the data in the XML file, through verification and approval, to passing it on to the finance system. Smart routing directs documents to the right people and processes.
Can you access ADF from a phone?
Yes. The app has a mobile version with a responsive interface that adapts to any screen, so you have access to your documents in the office, in the field, and on the move.
What happens to a document once the approval process is finished?
The document stays in the Dataverse repository, with a barcode for quick search and inventory. Once approval is complete, it can be moved to Azure Blob Storage to save space in Dataverse.
